CabinStiks™ vinyl wall decals for rough surfaces are made of an extremely conformable cast vinyl material that can be applied to a variety of rough / non-flat indoor rough surfaces such as bricks, cinder block, concrete, stucco, rock, and more. Better adhesion is achieved if the surface is painted. These decals are applied using a heat gun. Recommended for medium-long term indoor applications.

Installing Vinyl Wall Decals on Rough Surfaces:
- Surface Preparation: Clean the wall surface thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, and debris. Make sure the surface is completely dry before installation. ANY moisture will cause the decal adhesion to fail. A painted surface yields better adhesion. Allow painted surfaces to dry for 48 hours before applying the decal.
- Positioning: Align the decal in the desired location. Use masking tape to hold it in place temporarily.
- Application: Begin applying the decal by peeling off the backing, working from the top down and inside to out.
- Adhesion with Heat Gun: Use a heat gun to warm the vinyl, pressing it firmly into the rough surface using your hands, a roller or squeegee. Work slowly to ensure proper adhesion and smooth out any air bubbles.
- Final Inspection: Ensure the edges and all areas are firmly adhered and the decal conforms to the rough texture of the wall. Work out any bubble by applying additional heat if needed.

Proper installation of this decal is essential for maximizing its lifespan. Incorrect installation may allow moisture to seep behind the graphic, reducing its durability. Additionally, exposure to environmental factors like outdoor elements, extreme temperature changes, or direct UV sunlight can also shorten the decal’s lifespan and degrade its appearance.
