FloorMetAL™ Custom Aluminum Floor Decals / Stickers / Graphics / Signs for rough surfaces & rugged applications. These innovative custom floor signs are printed on heavy-duty coated soft aluminum (polyurethane). FloorMetAL™ signs perform well on outdoor (and indoor!) surfaces such as asphalt, sealed and unsealed concrete, brick, tile, terrazzo, marble, vinyl flooring, stone, and virtually any other floor surface.

This material is made from Coated Soft Aluminum (Polyurethane). It has an anti-slip surface (Slip-Resistant (R12 / BS7976). These heavy-duty floor decals have up to 1 year outdoor life expectancy, which can vary depending on a variety of circumstances including exposure to moisture and sunlight.

FloorMetAL™ Installation:

1. Clean Thoroughly: Remove all loose debris, dirt, and grime. For best results, power wash or spray the area. If that’s not possible, use a shop vac or brush.
2. Ensure Dry Surface: Wait until the area is completely dry before applying the decal.
3. Apply Pressure: Use a J roller or foam roller to press firmly across all areas of the decal, ensuring no moisture gets underneath. Finish by applying pressure with your hands.
4. Optional Permanent Seal: For a more permanent hold, apply a concrete primer or sealer (available at hardware stores) before installation. Afterward, seal the edges with 2-part epoxy and trim any seams to protect against water damage.

Proper installation of this decal is essential for maximizing its lifespan. Incorrect installation may allow moisture to seep behind the graphic, reducing its durability. Additionally, exposure to environmental factors like outdoor elements, extreme temperature changes, or direct UV sunlight can also shorten the decal’s lifespan and degrade its appearance.
